The output

What you get from Pursuit.

Upload your firm's own Excel template and a companion model comes back in your structure.
  • → Your firm's Excel template as the structure of a companion model
Your tab names, your tab order, your row labels, your number formats. Pursuit's own formula-driven workbook ships beside it in Pursuit's structure, because the arithmetic and the citations stay Pursuit's own.
  • → Your buy-box struck against every screen, with a verdict on each criterion, and your own underwriting conventions on every sizing run, each one printed as a stated firm convention.
  • → Your naming conventions, units and rounding on the line item, value and basis columns Pursuit writes.
  • → Your firm's name and your firm's mark on every export, and your approved voice standards on every run.
  • → Your committee packet's headings, in its order, on the memorandum.
  • → Every number sourced from your uploaded documents, and every outside figure carrying its agency, its series and the date it was pulled.
  • → Every gap flagged. Nothing fabricated, nothing hidden.
  • → Team workspaces: assign a deal to your team and every member can open it, each run and edit still attributed to whoever did it. Per-room permissions are on the roadmap.

What customization covers

Seven layers, and where each one stands.

The output is not a fixed template. These are the seven layers a firm shapes, what each one does today, and what is still on the roadmap. Nothing here is marked live that the deal room does not do on a run.

PARTIAL

Template import

Upload your firm's Excel template and Pursuit returns a companion model in your structure: your tab names, your tab order, your row labels, your number formats. Pursuit's own formula-driven workbook ships beside it in Pursuit's structure, because the arithmetic and the citations stay Pursuit's own. The file states every section and label it took from you and every one it kept.

Your structure, our arithmetic

Assumption set

Set your vacancy, management fee, capex per foot, DSCR floor and LTV and LTC caps once, and every sizing run uses your numbers instead of ours. Every line a convention strikes prints as a STATED FIRM CONVENTION, so it is never read as a covenant the documents impose. A convention you have not set falls back to Pursuit's and is labelled as Pursuit's. Your buy-box is yours the same way: every screen is struck against it and shows its verdict on each criterion.

Your numbers on the sizing, marked as yours

PARTIAL

Formats and labels

Your naming conventions, row labels, units and rounding follow your workbook. Pursuit writes a line item, a value and a basis column; the remaining columns of your own model are left to you, and the file states exactly which of your columns it wrote and which it did not.

Three columns written, the rest named

Branding and voice

Upload your mark once and it appears in the header band of every deliverable page and inside the header part of the Word file itself, not pasted on top of the first page. Your firm's name carries in the running footer of every memorandum and on the exported workbook's cover. Your voice, the words, the phrasings and the structure your memos use, is read from your own documents into an approved standards set, each line marked stated, observed or inferred, and nothing is applied until someone approves it.

Your name, your mark, your voice

ROADMAP

Preferred sources

Every outside figure names the agency, the series and the date it was pulled, and every web-sourced page carries its URL and its retrieval date, so a reader can check it. Choosing your own comps and market-data vendors, and the order you trust them in, is on the roadmap.

Named and dated today, ranked on the roadmap

Committee format

Upload one committee packet and the memorandum takes your headings, in your order. Sections your packet has no counterpart for keep Pursuit's names and follow behind. A section your packet carries that this run did not produce is named in its place and marked not produced by this run, so nobody hunts for a heading that is not there. The run log states how many sections came from you and how many stayed ours. What does not change is the citation on every figure.

Your headings, your order

Institutional memory

An analyst edits a deliverable in place, and that correction is applied on the next run of that skill for that desk: the passage is replaced in the built document, and the same correction goes to the model in your analyst's own words before it writes. A correction that moves a number is recorded and listed and never replayed, because a figure carried from last week has no source page on this deal. Every entry shows its author and its date in settings, and any of them can be deleted.

Wording carries forward, figures never do

Off-market research agent

Beyond the deliverables above, the off-market research agent finds off-market owners, pierces the owning LLC when possible to the real decision-maker, and returns a contact path, every finding cited to its public source. see the sample →

Every layer above is scoped to your account or your team: your corrections, templates and mark improve your runs only, never pooled, and nobody trains on them. Your data is yours →

What the output looks like.

Real sample deliverables from the Harborline Building run. Every figure carries the document and the section, schedule, sheet or cell it was read from, or the arithmetic it was computed by; every gap is flagged for your analyst, never filled. Open any file to see it in full.
